This series, entitled Moonscapes, was inspired by the nature of the materials used – texture, grain, flexibility, reflection or absorption of light.
Varying depths achieved with several layers of paper have led to the creation of landscapes both unique and with a connection to the other Moonscapes. By using various media – monotype, collage, pastel and ink - Anna Rohan produced details unexpected at the start. “By mentally visualizing an image, I discovered a work process that provides the challenge of discovery”, she says.
