Let’s vote YES with enthusiasm for a residence for our Seniors
On Sunday, December 9, the residents of Fleming Park contiguous zones will have the opportunity to amend the zoning by-laws allowing the building of a senior residence for persons 60 years and older. This residence will provide a secure environment, medical services, a dining room, a library, recreational activities, etc. This residence will be close to public transportation and to the Rockland Shopping Center where we can find a drugstore, banks, restaurants and many other services.
This residence, located on Brittany is a thirty second walk from Ernest Jubien Park, which park is much used by the residents of the neighbourhood and appreciated for its green spaces, trees, quiet and pleasant environment.
Some time in the future, we will all have to make a decision once we retire or sell our house. A YES vote will allow us to continue living in our community close to our families and friends.
Les Amis des Aînés invite you to support the construction, within a reasonable time, of a residence for our Seniors.
Let’s vote YES, on Sunday, December 9, from 10: 00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
P.S. Your vote is secret.
